SPRING METRO LEAGUE TRYOUTS

IMPORTANT INFO:

IF YOU REGISTERED AND ATTENDED TRYOUTS IN THE FALL AND OR ATTENDED WINTER TRAINING YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER... BUT NEED TO ATTEND THE TRYOUT SESSIONS TO FINALIZE METRO TEAMS FOR SUMMER

This post does not apply to those named to Premier Youth League Teams for Under 12 and older...

 

1. All players must be registered through the RAMP system and have paid the $25.00 fee prior to attending their tryout.

 Under 7 - Born 2017/2018

Under 8 - Born 2016

Under 9 - Born 2015

Under 10 - Born 2014

Under 11 - Born 2013

Under 13 - Born 2011/2012

 

IMPORTANT INFO TO REGISTER FOR TRYOUTS

1. Click on the link to the Registration Link below...  If you don't have an account, near the bottom click CREATE ONE HERE, once you have done this you can register for the tryout by clicking Available Participant Packages and scrolling to the SPRING TRYOUT age group you are looking for- once you have put in your player info - Choose Division (spring tryout with age group)  - then go from there.

3. Payment is done through Ramp system with Visa or MC.

5. Registration for any tryout must be complete at least 1 hour prior to you attending your first tryout session.

6. NEW REGUIREMENTS FOR REGISTERING FOR SOCCER - The Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association now requires RESPECT IN SPORT FOR PARENTS to be completed by a 'primary caregiver' of each player.  The cost for the course is $12.00 and is not refundable.  This course only has to be done once. If you have it completed for another sport that will apply here.  You may be required to enter your course completion number when registering or provide it if asked at the field.

CBS Soccer will be conducting tryouts to finalize Metro League teams for summer 2024 starting April 29th - Schedule Below for Tryouts and Metro League Weekends

All Sessions will be held at Topsail Turf

WHO - Anyone who intends to play Metro League soccer this summer should be in attendance at all sessions for your age group.

REGISTER REQUIRED NOW - Only those who DID NOT register in the fall or did not play Winter training must register.

COST - $25.00 

2024 METRO LEAGUE FEES TO BE PAID AFTER TEAMS POSTED

NOTE RE FEES 2024 - Fees have been adjusted to account for new and increased fees outside of our control. NLSA fees have increased by approximately $6.00 per player, minimum wage has increased approximately $1.00 per hour since last summer and the Town of CBS has applied a new Field Maintenance Fee (based on 2023 registration numbers would see us pay $40,000 per year).

Under 13 and Under 15 - $465.00, if sibling also U13 or U15 they would be $420.00, if Under 11 and younger see below.

Under 7, Under 8, Under 9 and Under 11 - $420.00 for first player, $375.00 for 2nd, $355.00 for 3rd and 4th and beyond $335.00

- if you are playing Metro League you won't have to pay for House League if you choose to play there as well.  If you have already paid for House League let us know after teams are posted.
